Where Do Birds Go Off to Die (2017)

I have an ambivalent feeling about being part of a large group of people. I believe in the power of solidarity, but also I viscerally fear how people start losing their ability of critical thinking or even careful skepticism in a group dynamics. We see our opponents as the mob while we are becoming the same. They seem to be in their bubble if we see them from inside of our own bubble. In the convolutedly woven fabric of social and political relations around me, my position easily switches between the one who is exploited and the one who exploits. It is, time to time, so difficult to simply stop and think the situation we are in; where we are going, what we are carrying and who we really are when we call us “we.”
